Position Details: The Branch Team Lead plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring customer service and operational excellence. This position helps improve company projects and results by collaborating with branch teams, promoting an environment where team members are empowered and engaged in the company’s success. The Branch Team Lead reports to an Operations Manager or Branch Manager.

You Will:

• Provide customer service and direction regarding daily activities of the team at the branch.
• Clarify direction for team members by setting project priorities, company strategy, and providing continuous feedback.
• Improve operational metrics such as customer satisfaction, sales, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Foster customer retention and satisfaction by delivering a creative customer experience.
• Offer frequent, direct, and candid feedback to enhance team skills in branch operations.
• Monitor counter transactions and guide team members accordingly.
• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing training for team members.
• Build work schedules to ensure productivity and optimal staffing levels.
• Assess processes for improvement opportunities, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance service and sales.
• Collaborate with internal partners such as Sales, Branch Network, Customer Service Centers, and Onsite Services teams.
• Respond to emergency customer calls after hours as needed.

You Have:

• High school diploma or a Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of customer service and sales experience.
• 2+ years of management experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to communicate the branch vision to all employees.
• Experience in training staff on processes, procedures, compliance, and product knowledge.
• Competence in using computer software applications, including SAP.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
