EDI Integration Analyst

Grainger is hiring for EDI Integration Analyst

As an EDI Integration Analyst at Grainger, you will focus on managing and enhancing the company's electronic data interchange (EDI) systems and integration processes. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth integration of EDI systems with business applications.

You Will:

• EDI Integration Management: Develop, configure, and maintain EDI solutions, ensuring seamless integration between internal systems and external trading partners.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support for EDI issues, including troubleshooting and resolving integration problems.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed EDI documentation, including specifications, mapping guides, and implementation procedures.
• System Analysis: Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for EDI solutions.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external partners to design and implement EDI solutions that meet business needs and industry standards.
• Testing and Validation: Perform testing and validation of EDI transactions and integrations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving EDI processes and systems, recommending and implementing enhancements as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure that EDI processes adhere to relevant standards and regulations, including industry best practices and company policies.

You Have:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience with EDI systems and integrations, including hands-on experience with EDI mapping, data translation, and troubleshooting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EDI software tools (e.g., IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, Informatica) and knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT).
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy in managing EDI transactions and documentation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
